Enjoy our Neighborhood

Cedar Canyon Retreat sits on 40 acres, almost all of which is preserved in its natural state, and we are surrounded by public land, so we have plenty of room to explore! We are building a variety of activities, including a community campfire and play area, hiking and biking trails, and our very own covered wagons.

We are close to a wide variety of experiences. Nearby Cedar City is home to the Utah Shakespeare Festival, the Utah Summer Games, and many other events. Hike, cycle, fish, snowmobile, or sled in our canyon. Visit several nearby national parks, including Zion, Bryce Canyon, and our own Cedar Breaks just 20 minutes up the road. When you get here, drop by the office where we have information about all kinds of activities.

Looking for something nearby and easy for all ages? Check out our Cedar Canyon Family Activity Guide!

When it's time to eat, our canyon neighborhood has two great steak houses, while Cedar City offers a variety of restaurants, much more than you might expect from a city of its size, thanks to being a college and festival town.
